Wolverhampton set for O’Neil’s return to the bench

WOLVERHAMPTON (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – Less than a year after his dismissal, Gary O’Neil could be set for a return to the Wolverhampton bench. Following the departure of Vitor Pereira yesterday morning, the club — according to the BBC — has contacted the 42-year-old coach to discuss a possible comeback, although Rob Edwards, currently in charge of Middlesbrough, is also in the running. Talks with O’Neil have reportedly been positive so far, with the manager — who was sacked last December while the team was battling relegation — open to returning.
