Barcelona, muscle injury for Dani Olmo while on international duty

MADRID (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – Bad news for both Spain and Barcelona. On the eve of the World Cup qualifier against Georgia in Elche, Dani Olmo suffered an injury during training. Medical tests revealed a muscle strain in his calf.

The Spanish Football Federation announced that Olmo will return to Barcelona tomorrow to begin his recovery. Spain coach Luis de la Fuente is reportedly considering a replacement, with Ansu Fati among the names being evaluated by Spanish media.
