VALLETTA (MALTA) (ITALPRESS/MNA) – At the mid-year summit of European leaders in Brussels, Prime Minister Robert Abela called for swifter action on the return of migrants who are denied asylum.

He stressed the urgency of advancing discussions on migration policies, including closer cooperation with third countries such as Libya. Abela reiterated Malta’s commitment to supporting Libya in addressing migration challenges, adding that partnerships beyond Europe are key to sustainable solutions.
