MANCHESTER (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – Bad news for Manchester City, who will be without Antoine Semenyo for two months.

Enzo Maresca himself revealed on the eve of the Champions League match against AEK that the player has suffered a muscle injury that will keep him out of action for around eight weeks.

The Italian coach explained that he had wanted to rest Semenyo during Saturday’s match against Ipswich, but was ultimately forced to bring him on in the second half in place of Doku.

“Sometimes things happen that are beyond your control,” Maresca said.
