MADRID (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – After signing free agent Dani Carvajal, Getafe could also bring in another former Real Madrid captain.

In recent days, club president Ángel Torres had acknowledged negotiations with Jadon Sancho and Dani Parejo. Yesterday, however, he revealed that the club was also in contact with René Ramos, Sergio’s brother and agent.

Getafe are willing to sign the 40-year-old defender, provided the financial terms are right, even though the club already have fairly good cover in central defence.

Sergio Ramos has been without a club for almost a year, following the end of his spell with Mexican side Monterrey in December 2025.
