Manchester City, Guardiola expected at the Etihad Stadium for PSG clash

MANCHESTER (ENGLAND) (ITALPRESS) – Five months after his last visit, Pep Guardiola is set to return to the Etihad Stadium.

According to the English media, the Catalan coach, who managed Manchester City for ten years, will be in the stands on October 14 to watch the Champions League clash between his former club and Paris Saint-Germain.

It will be the first time Guardiola has returned to his former stadium since leaving the Citizens. It will also be the first home game for Haaland and his teammates following the verdict on the club’s alleged Financial Fair Play violations.

Following the verdict, Guardiola broke his silence on social media to reiterate his support for City.

“I want every single Manchester City fan around the world to know that I am here, more than ever,” he wrote. “I am, I have always been and I will always be by the side of my club, my owner, my chairman, Ferran, the players, the staff, Enzo and you, our unique fans.

“I want to be clear: we will overcome all of this together. I love you all.”
