SAO PAULO (BRAZIL) (ITALPRESS) – Reports from Brazil confirm Sao Paulo’s interest in Jamie Vardy. The 39-year-old former Leicester striker is a free agent after his spell in Italy with Cremonese and, according to Globoesporte, the club is looking for free-agent reinforcements, as shown by the arrivals of Domingos Duarte and Aurelio Buta.

The club’s management is therefore considering whether to make a move for Vardy, although there is currently no ongoing negotiation.

Sao Paulo already have three strikers in their squad: Calleri, the first-choice forward who has just signed a contract extension; Andre Silva; and highly rated youngster Ryan Francisco, whom the club sees as an important part of its future.
