ROME (ITALPRESS) – “This week the Mediterranean Games will begin, taking place in Taranto. They will involve several countries from Africa, Asia, and Europe that belong to the Mediterranean area. I hope that this sporting event will be a prophecy of peace and brotherhood among the peoples of this region and the entire world.” Pope Leo XIV said this at the end of the Angelus in Piazza della Libertà, Castel Gandolfo.
