BARCELONA (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – The Barcelona captain’s armband will be worn by Raphinha. Following the departures of Ter Stegen and Araujo, Hansi Flick has decided to appoint the Brazilian forward as first-choice captain, with Pedri and the new addition Eric Garcia as vice-captains. Frankie De Jong is left out for the time being as he continues to recover from injury.

“Players can still arrive and leave. Once we have completed the squad, we will vote. Until then, Raphinha will be the captain, together with Eric and Pedri. Frenkie is injured, so I have made this decision,” Flick said in comments to the club’s official channels.
