ROME (ITALPRESS) – The Balogun case is not over. Nearly twenty days after the controversy surrounding FIFA’s decision to suspend the American player’s automatic ban, Norwegian Football Association president Lise Klaveness announced to the Times that the body she chairs will file a complaint with FIFA’s Ethics Committee.

The Norwegian Football Association is calling for a thorough investigation into the involvement of US President Donald Trump in the affair, who admitted to calling FIFA’s Gianni Infantino to request a review of the referee’s decision. Klaveness argues that “when you circumvent a rule like this, you’re going down a dangerous path that jeopardizes the entire game.”
