MADRID (SPAIN) (ITALPRESS) – “The celebrations continue… I apologize to my team and the fans.” Vinicius celebrated Real Madrid’s victory over Villarreal on Instagram, a win that came despite his sending-off, which left his teammates down to ten men in the 72nd minute after he pulled Saliba’s hair.

The Brazilian forward accepted responsibility for the red card, but also took the opportunity to voice his frustration. Shortly afterwards, he posted a collage of incidents from other matches in which opponents had fouled him without receiving any disciplinary action.

“And yet Vinicius is always the one who gets the yellow and red cards. What a disgrace,” the Real Madrid player wrote sarcastically.
