TRIPOLI (LIBYA) (ITALPRESS) – The first direct air route to Benghazi, operated by Medsky, was inaugurated yesterday at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, attended by Abdulhadi Al-Huwaij, Foreign Minister of the eastern Libyan government. According to the Libyan Foreign Ministry’s Facebook page, the ceremony was attended by the Medsky chairman, the airport director, and French officials, marking the resumption of direct air links between the two cities after more than 15 years. The minister emphasized that the new route strengthens international air connectivity, expands travel options, and facilitates travel for work, study, and visits without intermediate stopovers. The initiative is part of efforts to expand Benghazi’s air network to include international destinations.
